Difference Between X7 & X7 Pro:
X7 Pro replaces the ICM-20689 chip on X7 with a high-end ADIS16470 chip. Because of its excellent gyro and acceleration drift performance. it is used in some cutting-edge aerospace projects. This time. we introduced it to open source flight control. After careful polishing. it is integrated into the IMU with triple redundancy and exerts excellent performance. The sizes of these two versions are the same.
Here is X7 and X7 Pro description:
The X7 Flight Controller features built-in shock-resistant high-speed grade sensors for advanced flight dynamics. with an integrated full-duplex (FD) CAN bus.
The X7 series autopilot utilizes an STM32H7 series processor. delivering faster performance than ever before. This processor is accompanied by increased storage capacity and allows for up to 2048 waypoints to be expanded. Additionally. it features 512K EEPROM. a VSI running at 280MHz. and integrates the 512K STM32H7 autopilot.
The X7 series autopilot features a comprehensive suite of automotive-grade components. enabling advanced performance and reliability. Furthermore. it boasts an integrated high-precision sensor temperature compensation system for optimal data accuracy.
The X7 series autopilot features a proprietary. patented shock absorption system developed by CUAV. ensuring a stable and reliable flying experience with reduced impact from turbulence or vibrations.
The X7 series autopilot benefits from the integration of industrial-grade components. including the RM3IOO compass. which enhances flight stability and anti-interference performance for a significant qualitative improvement. Additionally. the incorporation of Bosch's ADI+TE series sensors further optimizes noise and vibration performance.
The X7 series autopilot features a modular design. allowing for customization to suit specific drone structures. Furthermore. it is fully compatible with the V5+ Core autopilot interface. enabling seamless integration and simplifying upgrades as straightforward as replacing the CPU.
The CUAV X7 series autopilots were rigorously designed and tested by the APM & PX4 development team. ensuring their robustness and reliability. Each autopilot was thoroughly evaluated through independent I/O testing to guarantee exceptional stability and performance.
Optional: C-RTK module provides centimeter-level positioning capabilities. expanding its functionality to meet diverse application scenarios.
The standard package includes the UAVCAN protocol-enabled PMU-SE digital power detection module. which allows for precise measurement of the UAV's real-time voltage and current. Additionally. the built-in CUAV-developed ITT algorithm helps ensure accurate measurements. providing valuable insights into the UAV's electrical performance.
The CUAV X7 series autopilot seamlessly integrates with the LTE Link series from Lei Xun Cloud Platform. enabling secure and reliable communication over 4G and 5G networks. With this integration. users can enjoy real-time high-definition video transmission and sharing. as well as control without distance limitations.
The X7 Pro utilizes the ADIS16470 chip instead of the ICM-20689. featuring the ADIS16470 sensor module integrated into the IMU with triple redundancy for exceptional performance. The front logo is updated to include 'Pro' branding. while the overall appearance and size remain unchanged.
The X7 Pro features a powerful processor. combining the STM32F765 and STM32H743 microcontrollers with advanced sensors. including the ICM20689 6-axis gyroscope and accelerometer. as well as the ADIS16470 sensor module. Additionally. it supports customization options through the BMI055 or BMI088 inertial measurement unit (IMU) modules. This processor configuration is available on a range of baseboards for the X7 series.
