Drone Payload Release System
This payload release and drop device is designed for seamless integration with your drone, enabling effortless deployment of items. The device can release and drop payloads simply by rotating the drone (no connection to the drone’s front LED light is required) or by pressing the C1 or C2 button on the remote controller. This functionality makes it ideal for creating emergency response drones capable of delivering life buoys to distressed swimmers or assisting sport fishermen by precisely dropping bait.
The device features a straightforward yet effective design. It utilizes a sliding pin mechanism, operated by a durable metal-geared servo, to open and close a slot for securely holding and releasing payloads.
Advanced Shock Reduction
Unlike traditional pyrotechnic release devices that generate shock from initiators and kinetic energy transfer, this system eliminates these sources of shock. By removing the need for pyrotechnic initiators, there’s no initial shock, and the restraint wire release mechanism contributes minimally to the overall shock.
Additionally, the energy stored in components like the release rod or other preload path elements is gently dissipated during the release event. This minimizes the contribution of stored energy to the shock, ensuring a smooth and controlled payload release.

Important Notes
- The kit is compatible only with aircraft that have an extra controllable channel on the transmitter. The channel must support adjustable signal width to control servo rotation accurately. Suitable options include switch buttons or two-step switches.
- After installation, adjust the transmitter channel to the proper pulse width. Failure to do so may result in kit damage within seconds.
